Audition Info

Ready to show us what you’ve got? Here’s how it works:
1. Record
  • a 30-second video of yourself singing 
  • completely solo, no accompaniment. 
  • Pick any song you love, in any style that feels right for you. This is your chance to let your voice shine!

  • record on a phone or webcam 
  • keep it simple and authentic.

Choose a song that makes you feel confident and shows off your personality. Have fun with it—we can’t wait to hear you! 

Application closes at 11:59 PM on May 22, 2026

If you are having trouble uploading a video to YouTube, you are welcome to email your video to ywesing@byu.edu. (If it is a large file, you may need to use Google Drive to send it to us.) When the registration form asks for a YouTube link, please note instead that you will be sending your audition video via email. If you have questions about filling out your audition form, please email us at ywesing@byu.edu or call 801-422-0118. We’re here to help!

General Video Guidelines

Please follow the guidelines for your audition video, located below.
* Upload your video to YouTube *

Note: When you upload a video to YouTube, the default privacy setting is “public,” which means anyone can view your video. You may easily change your privacy setting to “unlisted” so only those with the link (e.g., BYU faculty members) can view the video.

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
  2. From the left menu, select Content.
  3. Point to the video you'd like to update. To see your live uploads, select the Live tab.
  4. Click the down arrows under "Visibility" and choose Unlisted.
  5. Save.

You will be notified via email within two weeks of the status of your application. If you’re accepted, more details about camp schedules, what to bring, and other important information will follow as the date approaches.

Audition videos must be submitted for review by May 22, 2026. Please call 801-422-6700 for more information or audition questions.
