Cancellation/Refunds
A $75 withdrawal fee will be assessed on all cancellations requested up to four weeks before the camp begins. You can withdraw yourself using our online registration system or submit your request in writing. Refund requests can be mailed to BYU CE Events, 253 Harman Continuing Education Building, Provo, UT 84602. No refunds will be given after May 23, 2025.
Financial Aid
BYU Continuing Education offers a limited number of partial-tuition assistance awards for students who would not otherwise be able to attend the program. These do not cover airfare or spending money. Because requests always exceed available funds, the financial aid process is competitive. Decisions are based on merit and financial need. Applications are available by calling 801-422-6700 or emailing us at youthcamps@byu.edu and are due in our office no later than July 2, 2026. Applications are not available online. Applying for financial aid does not guarantee a spot in a program.

Housing
You may decide to stay in the residence halls during your camp experience. You can request a friend as a roommate, or you can choose to roll solo and make a new friend. The residence halls are great places to relax, play some games with new friends, and possibly even get some rest after a full day at camp.
A camp counselor will be there for you and your new friends. You will have a wonderful time getting to know your counselor and come to love and look up to him or her. The camp counselors are current BYU students, so feel free to ask any of them about their college experience. These camp counselors will also be great friends to you if the week gets a little overwhelming.
Separate residence hall buildings are provided for girls and boys. Be sure to remember that the opposite sex is never allowed in your bedrooms. You can hang out with your new guy friends or girl friends in the residence hall lobbies. You also should be involved in the camp activities during the day rather than wasting your time away in the residence halls. Slackers usually are not our most beloved and favored, so beware.
To make your camp experience pleasant for you and everyone else, make sure to bring enough clean clothes, shampoo, soap, deodorant, and any other toiletries necessary to look and smell your very best. Towel exchange happens every Wednesday, so if you have a big thing for fresh, clean towels, bring extra.

Meals
Food
All camp participants will receive daily lunches as part of their registration.
For those who purchase the Optional Campus Food and Housing Package and stay in the residence halls, breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided, courtesy of the campus cafeterias.
If you are wondering whether you will be hungry and craving home-cooked meals, don’t worry. BYU has fabulous dining halls where all workshop participants will enjoy buffet-style meals. If the cafeterias don’t suit your fancy, there are several alternatives, such as the Cougareat and the Creamery, where you are welcome to purchase whatever you wish at your own cost.
Medical Information/Special Dietary Needs
Any participant who requires assistance with medical needs should call the office (801-422-7845) one month before the program begins. This will give us time to make special arrangements (dietary, housing, or other). This includes special medical needs such as those for celiac disease (meals for the week), wheelchairs (handicap access), diabetes (refrigerator for insulin), etc.

Travel
Parking and Personal Vehicles
We do not encourage you to bring your car to campus. If you need to bring a vehicle or if you need parking on the first day, please park in the visitor lots shown on the campus map or in C lots around the residence hall. You are not allowed to use your car to transport other participants during the camp. Participants staying in the residence halls are required to give their keys to their counselor until Saturday morning.
If you are staying on campus, you are not allowed to go off-campus unless you have a parental release form stating where and with whom you are going and how long you will be gone.
Driving Instructions
If you are driving to Provo via I-15 southbound or northbound, take the BYU-Orem University Parkway Exit (#269) and head east toward Y Mountain (big Y painted on it).
This street (University Parkway) will take you past University Mall and bring you into Provo.
When the check-in locations have been finalized, we will post detailed driving instructions.

Dress and Appearance
Youth are expected to abide by the BYU Dress and Grooming Standards at all camp activities, including meals. The Cannon Center will not allow youth to enter the cafeteria if they are not dressed according to BYU standards. Please wear clothes and shoes that allow you to be comfortable as you move and rehearse. Since we are on BYU campus, we are asked that all clothes comply with the BYU Honor Code. All hairstyles should be neat and clean. Extreme hairstyles are unacceptable. No midriff tops, sleeveless shirts, or tank tops are permitted. Shorts must be mid-thigh or longer (no short shorts allowed).
For the Y We Sing Concert, we will provide your shirt. You will need to bring a pair of dark jeans and black shoes. (Remember that you’ll need to move and dance in whatever you bring).
Read the detailed dress and appearance standards for young men and young women.
I got to hang out with Vocal Point and Noteworthy. The people were so open and welcoming and I had a blast all week!!!
